Advanced Diploma in Supply Chain Management (ADSCM)

The Programme
IBM and IIMM have decided to jointly organize education programmes of mutual interest. Both the organisations recognize the importance of imparting quality education in supply chain management that is undergoing a constant evolution. According to the need of the day, both the organizations agree to introduce an advanced Diploma programme in supply chain management to build a multi-disciplinary knowledge bank for a young team of professionals who could adopt a managerial approach to resolve the supply dynamics both at the micro and the macro level.

Who is this Programme for
Working personnel in the field of supply chain management who do not have structured professional exposure may avail themselves this opportunity to update their domain knowledge. The freshers, who aspire to build their career in techno-commercial jobs related to sourcing & procurement, stores & inventory management, warehousing and logistics may also participate.

Duration
The duration of the programme will be for 52 weeks spread over two semesters. There will be eight modules, four in each of the semesters.

Eligibility
Graduate in any discipline with one-year work experience in a relevant field or Diploma in Engineering with 2 years’ work experience. Students pursuing professional undergraduate / post-graduate course in management and engineering in IBM and Jadavpur University, shall be eligible for admission without any work experience. Selection will be based on personality test.
Classes
Classes shall be held twice a week in the evening from 6.30 hours to 9.30 hours.

Placement Cell
IIMM and IBM have full-fledged placement assistance cell. Reasonable assistance is extended to deserving candidates based on vacancies in various industries. Students from IIMM have been recruited by L & T, Star cement, Everedy Industries, Jupiter Wagon, Century plywood, GRSE, Bandhan Bank, Sasta Sundar, Patton, PepsiCo India Holdings Pvt. Ltd. Coal India, Tata Medical Centre, Oberoi Grand, Haldia Petro-chemicals, Shyam Steel, Shyam Metaliks, Regaal Resources Limited, Gainwell India etc. Recruiters for IBM include PWC, TCS, Bandhan Bank, Axis Bank, KPMG.

Course Fee

Rs. 58,000 is payable towards course fee to be deposited in two equal instalments of Rs. 29,000 at the time of admission and commencement of 2nd semester. In addition, Rs. 1,000 is payable towards admission fee and Rs. 5,000 towards examination fee that will be payable in two equal instalments before the commencement of examination in each semester.

Mode of Payment

Course fee, admission fee and examination fee are payable by A/C payee cheque/Demand Draft in favour of “Indian Institute of Materials Management.” Payment by NEFT or payment by using QR code through UPI are preferred options.
